truck rental for hauling stuff

When I need to haul stuff (furniture, building supplies, etc), one of the best deals I've found is the Lowe's Truck Rental. $20 for 70 minutes. It's a big truck that can handle most loads, and I've found it cheaper & easier than traditional car rental places. I consider a sort of ZipCar for trucks.

Have you rented a truck from them without buying something that you needed to haul? I honestly don't recall if it was lowes or the home despot, but my plan to do the same failed for that reason.

It would be good to know you can rent a truck from lowes without a purchase for the future. I have a junky minivan for hauling most things, but trucks can be handy.

I've rented from Lowes without buying anything on that trip. When we replaced our urine-stained carpet with bamboo floor, we rented the Lowe's truck and went over to the flooring store for pickup.

$20 for 70 minutes is a great price but I would like to know if it's still relevant when I'm not purchasing.

Great stuff here. The information and the detail were just perfect. I think that your perspective is deep, its just well thought out and really fantastic to see someone who knows how to put these thoughts down so well. Great job on this.
